PAUL STANLEY OF KISS TAKES A STAND FOR THE MILITARY
In a recent profile article on Paul Stanley, The Chicago Tribune showed a more personal side of the Kiss icon. They reported that in an intimate concert setting, he was to give away a mortgage-free home to a wounded veteran as part of the night. He spoke about his feelings on America, saying, "Freedom is a word we take for granted far too often. It’s not politics that keep us safe… it’s our military." He brought it to a further point, saying, "Charity is not an option. It is an obligation."
A serious subject for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member…His own mother fled to Amsterdam from Nazi as Hitler rose to power, only to "have to leave behind everything she owned" to escape yet again, this time landing in New York City where Stanley was raised.
During the concert, Kiss also brought out a local color guard, who he described as their "honorary roadies."
- In a recent Loudwire interview, Stanley spoke about the prospect of a new Kiss album, and a renewed interest in doing more music. "As time has ed, I find it becoming more and more enticing — the idea of doing another album," Stanley describes. "I’m kind of more into it than I was before. For me, it really just comes down to, ‘Is it going to be exciting creatively?’"
